Fiber Post: patient guide
A fiber post reinforces a root-treated tooth that has lost a lot of its structure, so it can hold a crown. The post is cemented in the root canal, a core is built around it, and the crown is fitted over the restored tooth. Treatment usually takes 1–2 days.
