A sinus lift adds bone under the floor of the sinus in the upper back jaw, where there is too little height to hold implants. The first healing takes about 1–2 weeks; the graft then integrates over several months before the implants are placed — or they are placed at the same visit when the bone allows. This guide explains each step and how to look after the area.

Send us your photos and any X-rays on WhatsApp. A doctor reviews them and tells you whether a sinus lift is likely to be needed before implants in your upper back jaw. Tell us about any sinus problems — an active sinus infection must be treated first.
